Agape Letters for Inmates
Many of our incarcerated have little or no communication with the outside…this includes family. Having open communication with someone who is sincerely interested in their well being can have a positive impact! See “Why write a prisoner” here. Research shows that inmates who establish and maintain positive contacts outside of prison walls are less likely to return to prison. In fact, they are less likely to return to crime and substance abuse and are more likely to find employment and remain productive members of society. Would you please consider writing a note of encouragement to an inmate to let them know someone cares? If you would like to be involved in this compassionate ministry, please call our Chaplains office at: 231-922-4545 or email us at firstname.lastname@example.org. We will see that you are connected with an inmate!
Blessings and thank you for caring!
